Your voice

Our eyes meet.
Instantly, I am made aware of Your complete and perfect approval.
You speak.
All other voices are silenced.
Nothing is amiss.
You see me.
You know me.

You are altogether lovely, my darling,

and no blemish is in you.

Heavenly Father, deafen my ears to every voice that is not of You, quicken me to the accuser’s strategies, the faintest whisper that does not align with Your wholly infallible truth. Help me to appropriate the strength that lives in me, the mighty weapons of warfare which You have well-equipped me with to resist the enemy that he may flee, for we wrestle not against flesh, but against principalities of the unseen world. Help me to distinguish and divide, resist and conquer, for in You I am more than able; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Let the words of my mouth be pleasing to You, increasingly, and in having this complete assurance, let no false judgment weigh on me. Take my burden, Lord, for all that is unfair, all that is unjust. Knowing that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven, I bless. You bless. I thank You.

pocketful of pleasant

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

PSALM 19:14 (NLT)

Heavenly Father, make me increasingly mindful of each and every syllable that I utter and meticulously vigilant over that which I receive, value or give time to. Press my ear against Your heartbeat. Closer. Closer still. Loyalty, love and honor, kindness, goodness, that which edifies, uplifts, may such amiable pleasantness be my constant uncompromising measure and prevailing disposition. In times when it is simple to carry out and in times when it does not seem or feel so simple, may Your grace abound.

here and now

That moment. That calm in your heart that assures you and reassures you, firmly plants you where you’re called. Greatness. That long breath you inhale and exhale, for you know that you already knew that in grace long ago you overcame. Fear of rejection, misjudgment, the second you know it will never have a hold on you again because you have long been highly loved, you are your Father’s, and nothing on earth can ever tear you away from His arms nor dim the glimmer in His eye each time He looks at you. Here and now, we walk streets of gold.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:1-4

…And the main street was pure gold…

His crown

Therefore, my fellow believers, whom I love and long for, my delight and crown [my wreath of victory], in this way stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.

Philippians 4:1 (AMP)
My notes:
Stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.
Stand firm!
The crown you will cast one day at His feet is you.
Further reading:

Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

Philippians 4:4-7 (AMP)

1 undismayed; not discouraged; not forced to abandon purpose or effort
2 undiminished in courage or valor

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous

[be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy];

I have overcome the world.

[My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

John 16:33 (AMP)

[My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

May the very essence of this unshakable truth be rooted in you.
